Georgian Bay Coast Trail
City: KillarneyLength: 20.0 kmRegion: Northeastern Ontario
The Point Grondine Campground and Eco Park is proposed as an off the grid campground with primitive campsites, First Nation Interpretive Center, hiking trails and canoe routes.
The park will serve as the northern trail head of the Georgian Bay Coast Trail. The multi year project began in 2012 with a full park opening expected in the spring of 2014.
Point Grondine is located off of Highway 637 between the Killarney and French River Provincial Park and has an abundance of inland lakes and rivers to explore that are rich with First Nation history.
