Trans Canada Trail - Northumberland portion
Overview
The Northumberland portion of this national trail spans from Hastings southeast to Hoard’s Station (just east of Campbellford) on a rail trail last used by trains in the 1970s.
On your 37km trek you pass marshland, meadows, farmland, and travel alongside the Trent River in many spots. At Ferris Provincial Park in Campbellford, you’ll thrill at riding over the adjoining Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge as you deviate off of the rail trail through the town of Campbellford.
