Overview

The Glen rises 15 to 20 metres above what used to be the former bays of Lake Algonquin. Now it rises above a sea of trees. From the lookout point, if you watch the trees swaying in the wind, you can imagine the waves of a warm, tropical sea. Parallel to this limestone ridge extends a deep trough, carved by wave action of glacial waters.
