Plans are for the Ring Trail to circle Elmira linking with the Kissing Bridge Trailway at the north end.  More trail will be constructed  as opportunities arise. Woolwich Township boasts eleven trails totalling more than 80 kilometres. Trail use in the Township includes walking, running, cycling, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling as designated.
