They pass through a variety of ecosystems, including a boreal forest with white birch.
Going from Main St. East to Highway 144, the trail follows an old railway bed and is well lit from Pinellas St. to highway 144.
This trail is part of the Greater Sudbury Trail system known as Rainbow Routes.
