Combermere - Craigmount
City: CombermereLength: 21.0 kmRegion: Haliburton Highlands to the Ottawa Valley
A 14 km circular walk in the Madawaska Highlands, that passes through the hamlet of Rosenthal, home to German immigrant pioneers.
Today, the names on the post boxes are a reminder of that heritage. The abundance of sugar maples makes this walk of special interest in the Fall.
The nearby Madawaska Valley and the village of Combermere are particularly picturesque.
