Nestled within the Carolinian Life Zone, Joe’s Bush is a thriving forest filled with diverse flora and fauna. Visitors can explore a variety of trees, including tulip tree, sassafras, black walnut, sugar maple, black cherry, butternut, and white pine, as well as ferns and wildflowers growing on the forest floor.
The forest is home to a wide range of wildlife, including nesting birds, mammals, insects, amphibians, and butterflies. A small creek runs through the property, visible from all three trails that wind through the forest. These trails are designed to promote public awareness and appreciation of nature.
